ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Ouachita Baptist University’s Division of Music will host John Tneoh, baritone, in his sophomore vocal performance recital April 1 at 11 a.m. in Mabee Fine Arts Center’s McBeth Recital Hall.
Tneoh, a native of Sungai Petani, Malaysia, has been named a finalist and semi-finalist in the National Association of Teachers of Singing state auditions and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia national music fraternity, Ouachita Singers and Ouachita Sounds.
Tneoh will begin with Jean Baptiste Lully’s “Bois épais,” followed by Franz Schubert’s “Der Lindenbaum” from Winterreise and Giuseppe Verdi’s “Dormiro sol nel manto mio regal” from Don Carlo. He will continue with Ralph Vaughn Williams’ “The Infinite Shining Heavens” from Songs of Travel and will conclude with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Ho capito” from Don Giovanni.
