OBU School of Fine Arts presents 18th annual Festival of Christmas

Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts presents the 18th annual Festival of Christmas in Jones Performing Arts Center Dec. 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. Also, a matinee performance has been added Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at www.obu.edu/finearts or by calling 870-245-5563.

The Festival combines choir, dance, drama and band ensembles to convey the theme, “Spirit of Christmas.” The department of visual arts is also involved in the Festival by contributing the programs and artwork for the production.

A new addition to the show is a children’s choir made up of children of Ouachita faculty and staff members and the surrounding community. Some of the children will also participate in the performance as dancers and actors.
