ARKADELPHIA, Ark.—Ouachita Baptist University’s17th annual Spotlight on Arkadelphia will feature a new location this year. The campus event will be held at Ouachita’s Heflin Plaza which was dedicated in June.

The annual event, set for Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 8 p.m., is held the night before classes begin for the fall semester. Spotlight provides an opportunity for area businesses, churches and civic organizations to spotlight their services for new and returning students.

Approximately 90 vendors are scheduled to participate in this year’s event which is expected to attract several hundred students, faculty and staff members. Community participants typically provide free samples, coupons, brochures and other giveaways during the two-hour event.
