Thirty-eight OBU Voice Principals participated in the recent Arkansas Student Auditions sponsored by the state chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, at Harding University in Searcy, AR. The other universities involved included, Arkansas State University, ASU/Beebe, UCA, Harding University, Henderson State University, John Brown University, The University of Central Arkansas, The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, Arkansas Tech University, and The University of Arkansas at Little Rock

My favorite thing about music and being involved in it is the ability it has to capture moments/thoughts/ideas in ways that words or words alone are just not able to do sometimes. Especially in Musical Theatre or Opera because it’s literally the character’s expression of thought in written song. It’s wonderful!
