The Ouachita men’s golf team closed out the Dave Falconer Memorial Invitational in Russellville, Arkansas with an overall team score of 633, placing them 11th overall at the two-day event.
The Tigers were led by Drew Greenwood, who tied for the 12th best score overall with a 151. He shot and 81 on the first day, but improved his second day score by 11 strokes, finishing with a 70.
Will Hegi was the next best performer for the Tigers, finishing up with a 159, including an 82 on the first day of action and a 77 on the second day.
Jamie Barker finished the event just two strokes behind Hegi with a 161, posting his highest score of the Invitational on the first day with a 79, while closing out with an 82 on the second day of play.
Bryce Skinner notched a total score of 167, but saw vast improvement on his second day of play. He shot an 89 on the first day of play before shooting a 78 on the second day.
Jacob Calhoon rounded out the group of contributors to the Tigers’ team score, shooting a 171, made up of an 84 on the first day of play and an 87 on the second day.
Evan Greenwood played unattached, shooting an 86 on the first day of play before sitting out the second day of action.
Midwestern State won the overall team score, finishing the event with an overall score of 594.
