Megan Askew Notches Lone All-GAC Softball Selection

Senior Megan Askew recorded the Ouachita Lady Tiger softball team’s only selection to the All-Great American Conference teams for her play in the 2013 season.

Askew was chosen to the All-GAC Second Team. Last year, she was named as an All-GAC Honorable Mention selection.

Askew finished the regular season with a team-high batting average of .323. She recorded a team-high 32 walks, as well as 43 hits, including eight doubles and 10 home runs on the year. She notched 32 runs scored and 25 RBIs, while legging out 11 stolen bases.
