The Ouachita Lady Tigers fell to the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns 69-48. The Tigers shot just 29% from the field on the night. Arkansas Tech Forward Fatima Adams recorded a double-double scoring 23 points and grabbing 15 rebounds, 12 of which came on the defensive end.
The Lady Tigers were just 2-9 in the third quarter, scoring only 10 points. Of the Lady Tigers 48 total points, 18 came from the free throw stripe.
Breanna Harris finished with 13 points and two rebounds. Kori Bullard added nine points and seven rebounds. West had seven total points with seven of those points coming off free throws. Bowles added five points, all off free throws.
The Tigers finished just 2-12 (16.7%) from the three-point line in the game.
Ouachita shot 9-25 (36%) from the field in the first half, yet held the Golden Suns to just a six-point halftime lead at 32-26. Kori Bullard led all scorers with seven points. She also added four rebounds, all of which came on the defensive end. Guarding First-Team All-GAC selection Fatima Adams, Bullard limited Adams to 5-11 from the field in the first half.
Breanna Harris added five points in the first half, scoring the first points of the game on a layup. Kapler and Bowles also added three points apiece in the half. Kapler recorded five rebounds with four of them coming on the defensive end.
The Tigers shot just 28.6% from the three-point line in the first half.
