During the fall and winter seasons, Arkansas is always full of different events ranging from scary and friendly to fun. So get some friends together and make a trip to a few of the local events. Just a few of these events include Boo at the Zoo and Wild Winter Country.
Boo at the Zoo is held annually in at the Little Rock Zoo and this year it falls Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 25-Nov. 1. The zoo is completely transformed and ready to celebrate the Halloween season.
There is something for everybody at Boo at the Zoo. For the kids there are carousel rides, carnival rides, inflatables, trick or treating and many more fun activities. This winter, for the very first time, Wild River Country in North Little Rock will be transformed into a snow park called Wild Winter Country. Beginning Nov. 22 and lasting through March 30, 2014, families will be able to play in the snow at Wild Winter Country.
The park will be covered in real snow, with different snow related activities to participate in. Activities include throwing snowballs, building a snowman and snow tubing. Also, from Nov. 22 through Dec. 23, Santa Claus will make an appearance at the park and be available for pictures.
