Davis Ward Named GAC Pitcher of the Week for Second Time in 2013

Davis Ward was named as the Great American Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week this week for the second time this year.

Ward threw a complete nine inning game, only giving up one run while recording a whopping 14 K’s en route to a Tiger victory.

With the win, Ward moved to 8-2 on the year. He currently holds an earned run average of 1.36 and has recorded eight complete game performances, including two shutouts. Ward is currently leading the Tiger pitching staff in strikeouts with 69.
