February 1, 2016

The Arkansas Master’Singers will present a Concert of Worship Thursday, Feb. 4, at 7:30 p.m. at Ouachita Baptist University. The recital will be held in Jones Performing Arts Center on Ouachita’s campus and is free and open to the public.

Arkansas Master’Singers consists of more than 200 ministers of music/worship leaders, directors, accompanists, choir leaders, pastors, staff members and staff spouses from Arkansas Baptist State Convention churches across the state. The group has performed concerts throughout Arkansas and around the world.

“Many of the singers have been on the campus of Ouachita and many have graduated from Ouachita, so having them come back and perform a concert is special to them,” said Dr. Gary Gerber, dean of Ouachita’s School of Fine Arts and a member of Master’Singers.

The concert will include selections by Master’Singers’ men’s chorus, women’s chorus, combined chorus and orchestra.
