OBU football remains 10th in Super Regional Two Poll

The Ouachita Baptist University football team remained 10th in the latest NCAA Division II Super Regional Two poll, which was released Monday.

The Tigers, who are 6-3 overall and 4-3 in the Gulf South Conference, entered the poll last weekend at 10th and remained there after beating West Alabama in a thrilling 45-43 three-overtime game at A.U. Williams Field Saturday.

Ouachita is one of five Gulf South Conference schools in the regional poll.

Delta State (8-1) remains in the top spot, followed by North Alabama (9-1). Behind the Lions are Valdosta State (7-2), Carson-Newman (7-2), Wingate (8-2), Tusculum (7-3), Albany State (6-3), Arkansas-Monticello (7-3) and Mars Hill (6-4)

The Tigers look to finish the regular season with a fifth straight win as Ouachita travels 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 6 for the “Battle of the Ravine” against rival Henderson State..
