The entire Tiger Tunes show, including the awards presentation, will air live on obusignal.com.

Among the new features this year is the ability to watch from Facebook, Twitter, iPad and iPhone through the LiveStream app.

To watch the Tunescast, simply log on to The Signal‘s website Saturday before the show starts and load the broadcast. Viewers are free to leave and join the broadcast at any point throughout. Below the live feed will be bonus features compiled by The Signal‘s staff, including videos, slideshows and links to text articles, all of which can be accessed at any point before, during or after the live broadcast.

Last year, the Tunescast was watched on almost 2,000 computers on six continents.

For the first time, The Signal is using the company LiveStream for the Tunescast, which offers many features that were not available for previous year’s broadcasts. Switching to LiveStream will also allow the staff to broadcast other events on campus live throughout the year.
